They say committing to the Breast Cancer 3-Day is doing something BOLD.

You train, raise a lot of money, and then walk 60 miles.

This year will be our 3rd walk. Last year we printed our own t-shirts the night before the walk. We wanted something fun. We wanted something we knew would make Richey laugh. Based on the response we got, I think we found it.

Thank you Starbucks & Play It Again Sports!

The Starbucks at Market Square (Hwy 9 & Mansell) has been so good to us! Not only did they allowed us to keep a donation bucket by their barista raising over $800! But Play It Again Sports provided a treadmill for us and we set up right in the middle of Starbucks. We have done these 'walks' on six occasions raising hundreds of dollars.

 

 

Atlanta 3-Day 2008 - October 24-26, 2008

For 2008 we had five walkers and two crew members. We also have our Street Team of supporters who met us along the way with signs, encouragement and of course Starbucks Coffee!

Atlanta 3-Day 2009 - October 23-25, 2009

In 2009 we have five walkers and two crew members and an addition to this year's team we have our own Street Team! Our team hopes to raise more than $12,000.

 

Atlanta 3-Day 2008 - October 24-26, 2008

In 2008 we had four walkers and two crew members. Our team raised $6,607.73!

 

Relay for Life, April 11-12, 2008

Our team did our first Relay for Life at Oglethorpe University. We had two survivors with us, Joe Maddox who is a 7 year survivor of prostate cancer and Loren Benson who is an 8 year survivor of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.

 

Atlanta 3-Day 2007 - October 12-14, 2007

In 2007 we had five walkers and three crew members. Our team raised $11,833.00!

This was the best experience for all of us! We received donations from people we had never met! We got donations from the Pink Pals team in Arizona. They had extra funds from a fundraiser and they decided to "Pay it forward" to another team! Bless them! We will keep it going! This year our team has one new walker and at least three new crew members.
